CP8800 - 58mm Thread Adaptor (Part # NP8858)

The 58 adaptor is used to attach 58mm filters to the CP8800 lens. It screws into the Nikon odd size thread and provides a 58mm thread. The adaptor can be left on the camera when turning it off. The Nikon lens cap will no longer be usable. A 58mm lens cap will be needed.
For use with filters only! Do not use with accessory lenses.

The lens adaptor has a 62mm thread and is two sections. The first section screws on to the body of the 8800 and provides a 62mm thread at the position needed for wide angle lens adaptors. The second section screws into the first extending the adaptor for use with telephoto extension lenses.

Can be used together with the CP8858 58mm thread adaptor and a 58mm filter.
